Operating principle

With its trunk kinematics and learning function, Robotino® XXT is a safe, flexible research and technology platform for mobile robotics. It stands for learning and autonomy.

Universal application

Robotino® XXT serves in the development of processes and tools for industrial and everyday use; it can also be used in basic and advanced technical training. The mobile learning platform has a wide variety of sensors and interfaces and can be extended in a modular fashion. In addition, it can be operated with different programming languages and systems.

Further development

The direct predecessor of Robotino® XXT was the mobile service and learning platform Robotino® XT from 2011, with a gripper arm modelled on an elephant’s trunk. With Robotino® XXT, the Bionic Handling Assistant can also be adjusted in height and inclined using a tilting device. The two additional degrees of freedom make for an extended operating range.
